About me

Qualifications

I certainly have spent 200 hours on reading dictionaries alone. And I read a lot. That has given me something called 'intuition'. But my main asset is caution. I seek possible solutions for a particular piece of translation until I process it into real English, with preserving of the original style, etc.

Apart from that, I pronounce with the ideal RP. If I learn ideally other variants in future, I will place them on the list. I have access to a base of dialects from different regions of English-speaking and non-English-speaking countries. If that is necessary, I can quickly learn any of them and record/speak with such pronunciation. Learning of pronunciation is rather easy for me because I have experience in stage performances.

Education

I studied English philology at the KUL in Lublin, at the linguistic and translation faculties. I have a TEFL lience of the Chełm NKJO.

Experience

I have experience in translation of literary, technical, physical, and natural teksts. My knowledge of English vocabulary, as well as perfectionism stemming from my singular interest in it, aids me in every assignement from a field with which I am not too familiar.

Interests

I am interested in psychology, neurology, physics, biology, chemistry, philosophy, conspiracy theories, and linguistic methodology.
